An accomplished collegiate athlete at Cal State Fullerton and a former player and coach at Hope International University, Omar brings a valuable blend of playing and coaching experience to The Stadium staff. His background competing at high levels of college baseball allows him to provide athletes with firsthand insight into the development, preparation, and mindset required to succeed at the next level.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Omar recently played independent professional baseball with the Sky Sox and now serves as a rehab bullpen catcher in the Toronto Blue Jays organization, giving him real-time experience and perspective from the professional game that he brings directly into his instruction and player development work.

Working daily with collegiate athletes, Omar provides players with advanced instruction rooted in both his playing career and coaching background. His ability to connect with athletes, teach the details of the game, and share current knowledge from the collegiate and professional levels makes him a valuable resource for players striving to continue advancing their skills and confidence on the field.
