Luis is currently continuing his collegiate playing career at Cal State Los Angeles as a pitcher, bringing valuable firsthand experience from the NCAA Division II level to athletes at West Coast Prospects and The Stadium. Prior to Cal State LA, Luis competed at Glendale Community College, where he successfully made the rare transition from catcher to pitcher — a testament to his athleticism, adaptability, and advanced baseball IQ.

During his freshman year, Luis increased his pitching velocity to 90 mph through dedicated baseball-specific arm care and development routines, demonstrating the discipline and work ethic required to compete at a high level. His unique experience excelling both behind the plate and on the mound gives him a well-rounded understanding of the game and allows him to connect with players from multiple perspectives.

Competing at the collegiate level, Luis brings energy, knowledge and relatability to every training session while helping athletes better understand the development process required to succeed as pitchers, catchers, and complete baseball players.
