Director of Proteus Performance
Kade Wentz is a speed and strength performance coach specializing in science-driven development for youth, high school, and collegiate athletes. As Director of Performance at CatzRUN+, a sports science and human performance lab, he integrates advanced technology with proven training systems to help athletes maximize speed, power, and overall athletic performance.
A former three-sport athlete and 2019 graduate of San Marino High School, Kade earned First Team All-Area honors in football (quarterback and linebacker) and baseball (catcher). He continued his career at Pasadena City College, where he received his AA-T degree in Kinesiology while playing quarterback for two seasons. He earned SCFA All-State recognition, was named SCFA SoCal Championship MVP, and received the President’s Award as the school’s top male student-athlete. He later graduated from UCLA in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, further strengthening his understanding of performance mindset and athlete development.
Over the past two years, Kade has worked extensively with developing athletes, utilizing tools such as VALD ForceDecks for jump analysis and serving as a certified Proteus Motion operator. He is currently pursuing advanced certification in Sports Science to continue refining his data-driven approach.
Kade’s mission is simple: combine elite training standards with cutting-edge sports science to give athletes every possible advantage in reaching their full potential.
